How my Journey began
That’s me, as a little baby First Lieutenant.
This was my official photo taken several days before completing Commissioned Officers Training in 2015.
I was in the United States Air Force for eight years and left as a Major before switching from Active Duty to the Air National Guard.
***
During my service, I was the program manager for the Substance Abuse Program and the Family Advocacy Program, (at times, running both simultaneously).
***
Through these experiences, I realized my passion lay in helping those who have suffered profound trauma within their experiences (whether from abusive relationships or through exposure to war in any capacity).
***
I made it my professional goal to become a specialist in the treatment of trauma with the military, law enforcement, and first responders.
I am a trauma specialist
